Fuel Tanks for Civil & Construction

On a civil site, the cost of an idle excavator waiting for fuel dwarfs the cost of the fuel itself. The right portable tank keeps the project moving.

    Updated 27 June 2026

Civil and construction crews can't afford to drive plant off-site for fuel. A 30-tonne excavator burns 30+ L/hr — running it dry costs the project more than the operator's day rate.

Generator refuelling is the same equation. The site office, the crib room and the lighting tower all need diesel on tap, ideally without anyone driving the fuel truck out from town.

Joey's 400L and 1000L pods are built for civil work — 56 LPM pumps on the 1000L, hose reels, water separators, and freight from Glenorie or Noosa to anywhere in the country.

    Civil sub-contractor, Sunshine Coast

A 400L pod on the back of the supervisor's ute keeps crew vehicles topped up on a remote stretch of roadworks 90 minutes from the nearest servo.

    Solar farm install, regional NSW

Site generators and lighting towers refuelled from a 1000L pod with hose reel — no fuel truck callouts during the 12-week build window.
